Growth Hormone (326)

Used primarily to diagnose hypopituitarism, hypothalamic disorder, and acromegaly. Caution must be exercised in the clinical interpretation of growth hormone levels, because they vary throughout the day, between genders, are age-related and are influenced by many internal and external factors.

Patient must be fasting and at complete rest for 30 minutes before blood collection.
